Did you know that there is an ultrasonic facial device that can make your lotions penetrate deeper, your eye creams work faster and serums absorb better?
This is the 2 Face Dual Sonic Infuser and it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while increasing the power of your favorite products.
Some of you may remember the original sonic infuser that was popular two years ago. This is the new, more powerful version.
The Dual Sonic Infuser propels 6 time more skin care product into your skin and has been called a game changer by Vogue and Forbes.
This facial device uses low frequency pulsation with combination of hot and cold to treat the inner layers of the skin where damage begins.
The heat opens the pores and increases blood circulation, while sonic vibration helps products penetrate deeper into the skin, which is impossible to do by hand.
The cold closes the pores, tightens the skin, helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and locks in the active ingredients that can continue working.
The heat and cold can be used independently or in conjunction with ultrasonic vibrations.
It’s the only device on the market that has two sides. The front plate for the facial area and the back plate for the under eye or smaller zones.
It also has three levels of heat (100° F, 104° F, 107° F), three levels of cool (64° F, 57° F, 46° F) and 3 levels of ultrasonic vibration. So you can use whatever feels best for you. None of the settings will burn or harm your skin.
Each treatment only takes 2.5 minutes.
This facial wand is FDA-cleared and patent pending.
So whether you use it with the products you already love or try it with 2 Face serum, anti aging just double its power.
Skin Care Product Absorption!
What penetrates your skin?
We spend so much money on our skin care and we need to know what is actually being absorbed.
Some people say the skin is a watertight barrier and nothing is getting through. Other people are saying
don’t put anything bad on your skin because it’s all getting into your bloodstream.
What is the truth?
Many of you are spending lots of money on really expensive skin care creams, so you need to know if those actives are actually getting through to the dermal layer and that’s important because that’s where the magic happens when it comes to anti-aging treatments.
There are three layers of the skin:
- the epidermis, which is the top layer
- the dermis, which is the middle layer
- the hypodermis, which is the lowest layer (mostly fatty tissue)
We concentrate mostly on the epidermis and the dermal layer when we’re doing our skin care.
The epidermis protects us, it protects bad things from coming in and it also stops good things from leaving, like hydration.
The dermal layer is where we have our hyaluronic acid, collagen, elastin, blood vessels. This is where the structure of our skin is determined.
What determines what passes through the epidermal layer?
This layer is actually a hydrophobic area, which means it resists water; water is not getting in your skin. This is a good thing because if you’re taking a bath or a shower or you’re swimming, it’s good that you’re hydrophobic, otherwise water would just go right in and you would swell up like a sponge.
However, this is also lipophilic, which means it attracts oils and these oils are really important for strengthening the moisture barrier and keeping hydration within your skin and keeping bacteria and viruses out of your skin.
There is a rule within chemistry and it’s called the 500 Dalton rule of skin absorption.
That rule states that any substance that has a molecular weight of less than 500 Daltons (measured in grams per mole) will actually penetrate through the skin.
There’s a lot of medicines, such as patches that you put on your skin, that are formulated to be less than 500 Daltons, so they penetrate through the epidermal layer into the dermal layer and get sucked up by the bloodstream and distributed through your body.
The chemicals that are in most skincare that you put on your face are also less than 500 Daltons in molecular weight.
Keep that in mind when you’re selecting your skincare.
This is also important when you are buying really expensive products like hyaluronic acid serum. The truth is, when you put it on your face, the hyaluronic acid does not get through to the dermal layer. It physically cannot.
The hyaluronic acid molecule can be as large as 800 Daltons, which can’t get through, to over 3,000 kilo Daltons! That’s massive. It’s just not going to work.
What may be happening when you actually find that hyaluronic acid serum plumping your skin, is that the glycerin is getting into your dermal layer and the glycerin is causing the plumping, whereas the hyaluronic acid is doing nothing. So save your money with hyaluronic acid serums!
Also stay away of anything that claims to introduce collagen or elastin into your skin. Collagen is 552 Daltons.
Vitamin C gets through, it’s 176 Daltons and glycerin is 92.
When it comes to oils, they are very congruent with the structure of our own skin. The beauty oils, like Jojoba, Argan, Coconut, Olive, etc,. when you put them on your body, they do not penetrate into the dermal layer, but what they do is they deeply moisturize and they deeply nourish the epidermal layer and strengthen it so that moisture does not escape and it keeps bad things out.
Essential oils get absorbed into the bloodstream. They all weigh less than 300 Daltons. They have a very low molecular weight, so they absorb right through, they’re very active, they’re very effective at strengthening and nourishing the dermal layer of the skin.
To make things even better, to make actives penetrate deeper, I strongly recommend using the ultrasonic facial device – Dual Sonic Infuser.
